Torchwood

I'm going to give a few of my thoughts regarding Torchwood which is starting again this week - and I just saw the trailer for the first time. Why oh Why oh Why does this series continue to make itself about nothing more than sexual exploration and gay propaganda! I watched the entire first series, liked a few episodes, for the most part thought that the writing was awful, that the actors did a fair job wading though the bad writing, and that while this show isn't about showing real lives - aliens don't invade our streets every day of the week - it should for the most part give us believable characters that we can in some way (any way) find likable. Now, for my part, and I like a bit of gender-bending as next as the next man, I do not understand why the writers and super-large homo Russel T Davies, need to keep pushing men kissing men, and women kissing women down the throats of all the lovely normal every day folk that watch the show - this is NOT how every day lives work! It's just not! I can't remember the last time that I saw random strangers of the same sex (or alternate sex for that matter) lip locked on the street! This is less sci-fi than Russel T Davies fantasties. STOP IT NOW and you'll probably managed to get yourself a Christmas Special in 2008 to match Doctor Who.
